POTA Activation - US-1235 - Ridgway State Park, CO

I completed my first independent POTA activation at Ridgway State Park in Colorado. By independent, I mean I operated without an experienced POTA operator guiding me through the process.

Initially, the Ham2K Portable Logger LoPo felt quite complex to navigate. Fortunately, Lorraine stepped in to handle the LoPo app, logging all 13 CW contacts as I called out the call signs and RST reports. After traveling for just over two months, we've reached a stage in our journey where we can strategically schedule POTA activations at state parks along our route.
