Full Circle Monments

I love full circle moments. When something is started and ended in the same place or in the same way. I sometimes even go as far as to wear the same outfit on my outward bound day of a trip as I wear when I return. I’m not sure why but I think it ties things up neatly in a bow.

So it is not a random act that we are starting our cross country trip with a stop in Clinton, CT. This is where I hope we land after our National Parks tour. We would be half an hour drive from my sons Roger and Nico, a ferry ride (plus a little driving) from my friends on Long Island, a two hour drive from our family home in the Catskills and close enough to my nieces and nephews in Maine and New Hampshire to visit them on holidays! And a bonus, we would be near the Long Island Sound where we have dipped our toes and drank in the sun for 37 years!
Someday I hope to find a small home in Connecticut , with a small garden, a tiny yard (not too much to care for) and just enough charm to keep us happy. Maybe our son in Texas can live near us or on the same property too. It is a dream but I’m aiming my hopes at it. I’ll keep you posted.
